Colorado Apprenticeship Month & Awards
November is Colorado Apprenticeship Month which is a statewide celebration that gives businesses, communities, and educators the opportunity to showcase their apprenticeship programs and apprentices while providing valuable information to career seekers. During Apprenticeship Month, we host an Apprenticeship Awards ceremony to honor apprentices, mentors, employers, programs, partners, and champions for their exceptional contributions to Colorado's apprenticeship system. Nominations for the Apprenticeship Awards are open during the month of September.
Digital Apprenticeship Expo
Join the Colorado Apprenticeship Hub and Apprenticeship Colorado during National Apprenticeship Week November 18th-22nd to connect to talent at the 2024 Colorado Digital Apprenticeship Expo. All Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) Sponsors, employers, and Qualified Apprenticeship Intermediaries looking to hire Colorado residents (now or in the future) are invited to have a virtual booth in this week-long, static virtual job fair from the convenience of their office.
National Apprenticeship Week
National Apprenticeship Week 2024: November 17 - 23
National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is a nationwide celebration that brings together business leaders, career seekers, labor, educational institutions, and other critical partners to demonstrate their support for apprenticeship. NAW also provides apprenticeship sponsors with the opportunity to showcase their programs, facilities, and apprentices in their community. The week-long celebration highlights the benefits of apprenticeship in preparing a highly-skilled workforce to meet the talent needs of employers across diverse industries.
National Youth Apprenticeship Week
National Youth Apprenticeship Week 2024: May 5-11
Youth Apprenticeship Week (YAW) is a nationwide celebration that highlights the benefits and value of Registered Apprenticeship program opportunities for youth, ages 16–24. YAW is an opportunity for these stakeholders and others to host events across the country to bring awareness of these life-changing Registered Apprenticeship career opportunities for youth and how they create a sustainable pipeline of skilled and diverse talent for the jobs of today and tomorrow for critical industries.
