Lisa Snyder serves as the Grants Manager for the Office of the Future of Work at the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE). Her career has focused on strategic grant administration, compliance oversight, and financial stewardship supporting workforce and education programs. She has managed multimillion-dollar grant portfolios, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, optimizing fund utilization, and enhancing regulatory compliance. Lisa has led grant-funded workforce development initiatives, overseeing budgets exceeding $1.3 million and supporting programs that expand internship opportunities, workforce training, and career pathway development. Additionally, she has spearheaded efforts to enhance digital inclusion, develop micro-credentialing programs, and strengthen partnerships with state and federal agencies, tribal nations, and community organizations.

Lisa’s expertise includes program performance monitoring, risk assessment, and stakeholder collaboration. She has closely collaborated with higher education institutions, K-12 districts, and workforce development organizations to design and implement grant-funded initiatives that promote workforce opportunities, particularly in rural Southwest Colorado. At the Office of the Future of Work, Lisa applies her knowledge of grants administration to support apprenticeship expansion, digital access, and innovative workforce solutions across Colorado.

Lisa holds a Doctorate in Instructional Leadership from Argosy University and a Master of Science in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology from the State University of New York at Albany. She is dedicated to leveraging grant funding to create sustainable, inclusive workforce pathways that address the evolving needs of Colorado’s labor market.
